You can never have too many scarves!
As far back as I can remember, I have loved scarves and shawls, and I now have a beautiful collection. The fact that I now design scarves and shawls myself is thanks to a coincidence. While searching for a suitable gift, I came across a book with historical Japanese patterns that immediately captivated me…..
In collaboration with artists and graphic designers, the first unique patterns were adapted. Further independent designs emerged due to the general enthusiasm. Initial sample editions were produced, patterns discarded, discussed, questioned, revised … and new scarves and shawls were produced.
Under the label SKARF, there are now three lines: Japanese Designs, Classic Designs, and Modern Designs.
Since I am convinced that the world's best textile manufacturers are located in Italy, we produce exclusively there. We use fine natural materials such as silk, wool, and cotton and place great importance on high-quality craftsmanship.
Our beautiful, soft scarves and shawls are timelessly beautiful and comfortable to wear!

Mart the Dart: “It’s time for design”.
Mart provides artistic supervision and produces his own range of scarves and squares for SKARF.
A graphic designer with a leaning toward complex drawings, he has already demonstrated his artistic versatility in a number of areas. Mart’s creative output to date includes comic works, paintings (including large-scale portraits), photography, screen prints, and pen-and-ink drawings.
Scarves and squares have provided a welcome extension to the scope of his work, and offer Mart an exciting opportunity to use his artistic talents for a different purpose.
